Where Can I find Disney for…..
The Bedroom?
We all love Disney and we all love to bring some Disney magic to our homes. In this article we will look at the best places to find those items for our homes and what is available in stores and online. Everything is available as on August 2019 but keep an eye out for updates throughout the year.
Children’s Bedding
The first stop on your list should always be Primark for great Disney Bedding. Their prices are really great plus there is constant new product arriving all the time. In selected stores, fans may find some Toy Story and Lion King bedding from previous releases, but keep an eye out for Mulan and a Marble and Sketch effect Mickey and Minnie. Each set is available in Single, Double and King so there is no reason why you can’t treat yourself to one each.
Next is Next! Next keep to select ranges usually, so currently you will be able to get a Toy Story bedding set for children with other bits to match. The same is also true for a Jasmine from Aladdin. They do have some other bits, The Lion King have a fun set with Timone and Pumbaa, The Little Mermaid also has her own children’s Duvet.
Adult’s bedding
Next doesn’t do this and finding bedding for adults is going to be a hard find. Primark are the clear winners with their bedding ranges, it must be noted that many of the designs have been aimed at the traditionally female market but that doesn’t stop us. Again, as with the children’s bedding, you can pick up The Lion King, Toy Story, Mulan and Mickey and Minnie.
ASDA also have a nice range of Disney Bedding, currently they have a kissing Mickey and Minnie but if I am honest the price is more than Primark at £20 for a double and the design isn’t as smart.
Cushions
Shop Disney does own this one for the shear variation of Cushions. Each year these are released in March and can be often found in offers, unfortunately this is mainly towards the beginning of the year and fans may find it difficult in August. The range includes Princesses, Thumper and Kermit among others. Online they have personalised square cushions. They have also released a Cuddleess range that features your favourite characters stylised and made in a way where you can cuddle up to them and use as a pillow or cushion.
Primark always do a matching cushion for all of their bedding sets, these have been a mixture of patterned or shaped. Currently they have a Simba head and a Patterned Mulan cushion.
NEXT also have Disney Cushions available for their Toy Story and Jasmine ranges. The tOy Story one includes a long Slinky Dog which is by far the best, and yet most simple, design I have seen in a while.
Throws
Again, Primark win hands down, with every bedding set they release a throw, plus more. The great thing about Primark’s bedding is you can get a duvet, throw and cushion, all matching, for a really good prince. I haven’t seen any other Disney Throws in any other stores for a little while, however ShopDisney have brought in some for The Lion King, these are more Adult in style. No Doubt we will see more of these as Summer turns into Autumn and Winter.
Bedroom accessories
Next have a sweet Sheriffs Badge rug for children. The design is that on Woody’s badge from Toy Story. It is too small to be used by adults but makes the perfect sized addition to most children’s bedroom. Sticking with Next, fans can also grab Toy Story or Jasmin Canvasses. These are a small three square set, each with a different picture. Canvasses can be picked up in most places as the licence is often given out.
