Top 5 Disney Princess Hanging Ornaments

ShopDisney released its second wave of Hanging Ornamnets as part of its one year anniversary and within the release is the Princess Hanging Ornaments. With the fabric dresses and resin faces, they are a really sweet edition throughout the year. Some are cuter and nicer than others, so lets take a look at the top 5 5 – Anna (Frozen) Anna is almost perfect; she has a brilliant pose from the film (and Meme) as well as a near identical dress. Her expression is really excitable and we get a good idea of who this charcter is compared to the other princesses. The colours match most trees but this can be used elsewhere in the house and shouldn’t be limited to just Christmas. 4 – Mulan (Mulan) With the excitement of the live action version being in production, anything Mulan is on the radar at the moment. This ornament is really stunning and depicts the princess in a great way. I have seen quite a few versions of this ornament over the years and this is the best time to pick it up. You can also grab a Mushu this year, so fans need to grab them whilst they can. 3 – Tiana (Princess and the Frog) Tiana is often overlooked and it is a shame. She doesn’t have the longevity that Cinderella, snow White and Aurora does, and her film isn’t part of the CGI new renaissance or part of the 1990s renaissance so she just sits there with a really good movie and brilliant songs but with little love. That being said, this ornament is one of the bests of the entire range. It was if she was made for this specific product. I love the vibrant colours, the pose and the realism. 2 – Belle (Beauty and The Beast) So I had to sit long and hard about including Belle, I didn’t want her to be here just because she is my favourite Princess. On inspection of the ornament she does derve her place. The yellow dress with the glitter is just pretty, her face and the charming pose she has just works. Belle can often be made wrong, her face isn’t usually captured correctly but here it is a really good job. Obviously it changes per item but the one I have and the ones I have seen have been consistently good. And now for the number one spot…. 1 – Rapunzel (Tangled) Rapunzel is not going to appear in my favourites very often. I really like the film but I am just not overly excited by her. However, this product won me over when I first saw it. What is really nice is detail has gone into the hair and the face. She doesn’t look production line and I think whoever designed her may have a soft spot for this princess. The dress is really pretty and is also nearly accurate to the film. It would be nice to see more Tangled products up to this quality. So there we have my top 5 Princess Hanging ornaments from Shop Disney.
